Eddie Van Halen Portrait
Titled “Slightly Left of Center”
Museum-Quality Fine Art Prints on Canvas & Archival Paper
From an Original Hand-Painted Artwork by Marnie Miller (Texas, b. 1971)
Explosive, fearless, and revolutionary, Slightly Left of Center is a high-energy tribute to Eddie Van Halen — a guitarist who didn’t just play music, he changed it forever. Eddie’s sound, style, and innovation rewrote the rules of rock and roll, and this portrait captures the raw electricity that made him a legend.
Frozen in a moment of pure musical abandon, Eddie is shown mid-performance, completely immersed in sound and movement. His iconic red guitar, emblazoned with its unmistakable graphic pattern, slices through the composition like a lightning bolt. The intensity of his expression, the tension in his hands, and the dramatic contrast of light and shadow bring the viewer right to the edge of the stage — where volume, passion, and freedom collide.
This artwork began as a completely hand-painted original on canvas, created the old-fashioned way — brush, paint, and time. No digital processes. No AI. No shortcuts. Every fine art print is reproduced from the original painting with exceptional care, preserving the bold color, expressive brushwork, and kinetic energy of the piece.

Care instructions
Original art is usually a mixture of mediums ranging from watercolor, oil, acrylic and textiles... Sometimes leaves and sticks. The creative process is most unpredictable. Each piece is well protected with three coats of heirloom quality clear acrylic and will not yellow or discolor over time. I cant stress the importance of protecting you original art from water damage, excess moisture, condensation or extreme heat. I don't recommend glass over any original artwork unless it is recessed in a shadow box type frame. When framing prints, be sure to use only acid free materials and galvanized or stainless metals. If you have questions about mounting, hanging or storing your art, don't hesitate to message me. I'm here to help.
